MDPAC (Individual Credit Card)

The Michigan Doctors’ Political Action Committee (MDPAC) accepts individual contributions to unite the physician’s political voice. MDPAC is a bipartisan political action committee made up of physicians, their families, residents, students and others interested in making a positive contribution to the medical profession through the political process. MDPAC supports pro-medicine candidates running for the State legislature, Michigan Supreme Court and other statewide positions.

Medical Student Dues Sponsorship Opportunities

Due to the budget challenges MSMS has faced in the last few years, significant work has been done to reduce costs and increase revenue. One area that MSMS had to make an adjustment was medical student membership dues. For years, medical students have paid $5 for a four-year membership with MSMS. The expenses MSMS has covered have greatly exceeded the revenue from student membership dues. The decision was made to increase the medical student dues to $300/four-year membership.

MSMS Foundation

The MSMS Foundation was founded in 1945 by Michigan physicians as a charitable outlet for doctors wanting to express their compassion beyond the medical office. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and is supported by physicians and their families. The MSMS Foundation supports professional or public education, research programs and projects in the field of health.
