These sessions will fulfill the new LARA requirement for implicit bias training. The October 3rd session will provide a brief history of racism and set the foundation of health disparities.  The November 3rd session will address biases and understanding how "you bring you" into the room with patients, along with some techniques on how to upfront those biases and begin trust building.

This each session of this conference meets LARA's requirement for one and a half hours of implicit bias training.

Please note, the implicit bias requirement for licensure has additional criteria of a pre and post-test assessment.

  • Once registered you can access the pre-test by ckicking here http://www.msms.org/LMS and login using the same credentials as the MSMS website.
  • After participation in the live virtual session, you will have access to the post-test and your CME certificate will be available upon completion.
