WPS Government Health Administrators, your Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) will provide information on what Medicare will look for in your documentation of E/M services. We will include information on using time or medical decision-making (MDM) to choose your level of service. For MDM, we will go over documentation for the problem addressed, the amount and complexity of data, and the risk to the patient from your plan of care. Medicare will look for documentation of the expertise and proof of thought you provide in caring for your patients. We will welcome your questions.
