Lead by Laura Howe, MD, and her team of colleagues, this course will feature discussions on chronic spontaneous urticaria and the new asthma management guidelines.
Objectives:
- Identify key features of chronic spontaneous urticaria.
- Discuss how to provide patient counseling and education about the disease process.
- Explain how to implement a step-wise approach to management of chronic spontaneous urticaria.
- Identify the past and current ways of classifying asthma.
- Discuss how to apply guideline changes in asthma diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment based on evidence and shared decision making.
- Describe the strengths and limitations of the new Asthma Management Guidelines.
