This session will focus on who the Office of Investigations (OIG) within HHS-OIG is as an agency, their mission and role in combating health care fraud within the Medicare/Medicaid programs, case examples of fraudulent providers/billers and their criminal outcomes/sentences, as well as how the audience can help OIG in combating fraud, waste and abuse within government programs.
