This presentation will address a variety of challenging patient interactions and offers strategies for successfully navigating them. This includes patients who have requested a refund or reimbursement due to dissatisfaction, those that post negative comments on social media, receipt of a records request in anticipation of litigation or a letter from your state licensing department, and the proper way to terminate the patient-physician relationship. Actual patient safety risk calls will serve as case examples and the recommendations and options that were discussed.
