The hand examination is extremely high yield for health care providers. It is essential for patient care as it helps promptly diagnose inflammatory arthritis, which is crucial for preventing permanent joint damage. During this session Ibtissam Gad, MD  will discuss the critical role of the hand musculoskeletal physical exam in clinical practice and identify the gaps in musculoskeletal physical exam education. Lastly, she will describe how simulation-based education can be incorporated into the learning of the hand physical exam.
